About
I’m a Theatre Maker, Director and Performer creating absurdist, comedic and raucous work that explores human experience, modern life, mental health and bits-of-philosophy, through collaborative action and a contemporary kind of clowning.
I do what I do in all kinds of ways; whether I'm creating solo-shows, directing village pantomimes, working with schools, collaborating with healthcare professionals or co-creating large-scale events. I'm interested in finding ways to create irreverent, absurdist and inspiring experiences that can change the world in some small way.
Over the past 15 years I've created my own work as well as having developed and performed work in the UK and internationally with; Common Wealth Cardiff, BBC Arts, The Bristol Old Vic, Battersea Arts Centre, National Theatre Wales, Qube Art Gallery, Ffotogallery, Alma Alter: Bulgaria and Dirty Protest.
In 2020 I was nominated by National Theatre Wales for the Evening Standard Future Theatre Makers Award for my work as a Director.

"Justin’s kind of humour begs the world to be a kinder, more humorous place. He manages to deliver raw stories, giving us something to really chew on... The combination is a prescription for our well-being"
